Raymond Sherman (Ray) Lancaster, III, 49, of Junction City, Kansas, passed away Friday, April 6th, 2018 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House, Manhattan, Riley County, Kansas.
Raymond was born in Baltimore, MD on July 23, 1968, a son of the late Bernice Elanor (Emmel) and Raymond Sherman Lancaster, Jr.
Raymond was the husband of Carole Ann (Schlereth) Lancaster. Raymond and Carole Ann were married September 10, 1988 in Baltimore Maryland.
Raymond was an EMT, Life Star, and a Volunteer Fire Chief in Bogard Parish Dry Creek Louisiana. He also was a Search and Rescue team member in Baltimore Maryland. Raymond was a member of the Masons, DeMolay American Legion, Red Cross Volunteer, Moose Lodge and a Dispatcher for Annearundel County.
Raymond is survived by his wife Carole Ann, a son, Raymond Sherman Lancaster, IV,
and his fiancee Renee Stickler, a brother Christopher Lancaster, Sr. and wife Jennifer Lynn and a sister Lori Ann Blockston and husband Frank of Baltimore Maryland,
He is also survived by five grand children, Aliester Gardner, Adelle Gardner, Octavia Gardner, Lily and Gracie Lancaster.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
