Rosemary Arceneaux, 83, Manhattan, Kansas passed away Saturday,
December 10th, at the Via Christi Village in Manhattan.
Rosemary was born in Maurice, Louisiana on June 2, 1928, a
daughter of the late Felicia (Dalcour) and Remick Stevenson.
She worked for 15 years for Artex Company, was a member of Seven
Dolors Catholic Church in Manhattan, and loved playing cards and
Bingo.
Rosemary is survived by three daughters, Connie Jackson,
Jeanette Arceneaux and Joanne Arceneaux, all of Manhattan; two
sisters, Anna Lou Stevenson and Esther Gedry both of Houston,
Texas; seven grandchildren: Floyd Lee Arceneaux, Ureka
Arceneaux, Roy Lee Arceneaux, Jessica Arceneaux, Sylvian Arceneaux,
Allen Arceneaux, Chanita Winbush; 14 great grandchildren and 4
great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by six
sisters & two brothers as well as parents.
A memorial service will be held on December 19, 2011 at 11:00 am
at the Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home in Manhattan.
