Susan Barbara Forster, 58, of Manhattan, passed away Friday, Sept. 30 at her residence, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Susan worked for St. Joseph's Village and Stoneybrook for over 20 years as an LPN "While watching the RN's do nothing but sit behind the desk pushing papers."

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Brian Forster of Manhattan; daughters Lisa Harris, Newfield, NY; Dawn Crowder (Joseph) of Manhattan; her grandchildren Allison and Kelsey Harris, Shawn, Conner and Matthew Crowder.

Susan will be deeply missed by her devoted family, friends, and her beloved dog Kristy.

The family has selected cremation and there will be no local services.

The family requests memorial contributions to Homecare & Hospice, 3801 Vanesta Drive, Manhattan, KS 66502.

    May each special memory bring comfort to the family. The Bible brings comfort because it explains, not only the origin of life, but also the meaning of life, the condition of those who have falen asleep in death, and the resurrection hope. Jesus Christ said at John 5:28,29:"The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." May our Grand Creator, Jehovah, "the God of all comfort" be with you.
