Cleophus Washington of Manhattan, KS formerly of Domino, TX was born December 29, 1929. He married and had two children. Clara Robinson and Phillip Washington. He joined the army at 19, and his world changed; he saw the world by traveling to various countries. He was in Korea, Germany, Austria, and he spent a year in Vietnam. After he retired from in the army, Cleo attended VoTech for Air conditioning and refrigeration where he retired from that profession. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards and going to the casino.

Cleophus was preceded in death by his wife, mother, father, and 6 siblings. Surviving family: daughter and son, 6 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-great-grandchild.

At 96 years old his passing was peaceful; he will be greatly missed.
