Lovingly and expressively written by James Reynaud.

James Arthur Reynaud was born on November 30, 1970 in Houston, Texas to Mary and Joseph Reynaud. He has two older siblings Karen (Lavelle) Palmer of Centerville, TX and Michael (Raychael) Reynaud of Humble, TX.

James attended McArthur Elementary school, Lanier Jr High and Lamar High school in HISD. He also attended Texas Southern University for 3 semesters prior to joining the US Army. After leaving the Army, James attended Brown Mackie College in Salina, KS. Upon completing multiple associate’s degrees in paralegal, Criminal Justice and Business Administration Management, he went on to complete his bachelor’s degree in business management and Ethics at Manhattan Christian College in Manhattan, KS.

While serving in the military, James met and married Lakelie Snipes in 1995. They later started a family having 3 wonderful kids. They brought him so much love, joy and happiness. He's always been very proud of his children.

James grew up in Bellfort Church, with Pastor Charles Goodnight as a very influential leader and was very active in the youth ministry everywhere he went. In 1997, he was licensed to preach at Second Missionary Baptist Church in Junction City, KS and his faith went to another level. He was later ordained as the Youth Pastor of Greater Mt. Carmel in Houston, TX by Bishop George Sanders which took him to higher heights in ministry. James served in many different positions in the church over the years such as Men's Choir director, Usher and Associate Minister.

After a long battle with Cancer James passed away. He fought the disease with great faith.

Our family would like to express our gratitude to the care team that fought with him during his illness. Of course, an extra special thank you to his wife who went above and beyond in taking care of him, making sure he made it to every appointment and got everything he needed during this process. He couldn't have fought as long and as hard without his beloved wife.

James is survived by his beloved wife, Lakelie Reynaud and their children Jaelah, Isaiah, and Jameson, to continue his legacy. His Mother Mary Reynaud; Father, Joseph Reynaud; Sister Karen Palmer (Lavelle); Brother, Michael Reynaud (Raycheal); Nephews, James Palmer, Michael Reynaud, Jayden Reynaud; Nieces Evette Becerra (Robert), Jasmine Reynaud, Mariah Reynaud; Great Nephews, Daniel Becerra and Elliot Beccera; Aunts, Lucille Rollins and Carol Driver; Uncle; Larry Peterson.
