Marguerite Agnes Sharp of rural St. George passed away peacefully October 27, surrounded by family.

She was born on December 22, 1923, in Olpe KS to Henry Carl Bolz and Frances Anna Kiene Bolz. She

graduated from St. Joseph High School in Olpe as Valedictorian with only 11 in her class.


She married Marvin Sharp on May 8, 1943, at St. Mary’s Chapel on Ft Riley. To this union they had 4 children.

Marvin (Wayne) Sharp (Sara) Red Oak, Tx, Tom Sharp (Lany) Oakley, KS, Dennis Sharp (Janet) Holcomb

and Linda Glanzer (David) St. George.


She is survived by 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 22 great great grandchildren. She is also

survived by many nieces, nephews, and her sister-in-law Betty Sharp. She is also survived by her

constant companion and much-loved dog Lucy.


Everyone in her family received handwritten cards for birthday, Christmas and Anniversary. No family or

friend was ever forgotten. She was loved by SO many people.


She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, her five brothers Harold, Leo, Charles, Elmer

and Jerome, her sister Helen Rockley and grandson Timothy Michael Sharp.


Services are as follows: Rosary and mass with burial in the St. George Cemetery.
