Renee LeAnn (Janes) Novack, 52, passed away on October 12, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of laughter, love, unforgettable memories, and a husband who may finally get a chance to catch his breath.
Born on August 17, 1974, Renee was the kind of woman who never met a stranger. Whether she was traveling, enjoying the beauty of nature, sharing some good barbecue, or striking up a conversation with someone she'd known for all of five minutes, Renee had a way of making everyone feel like an old friend. Her cheerful spirit, spontaneous adventures, and contagious love for life made her someone you simply couldn't forget.
A country music fan through and through, Renee appreciated a good song, good company, and an even better excuse to get together. She loved spending time with her friends, making memories, and enjoying life's simple pleasures. She was always ready for an adventure, especially if it involved traveling, being outdoors, or finding somewhere with great barbecue.
One of Renee's favorite pastimes was keeping her husband, Jeromie, on his toes. Life with Renee was rarely boring, and we're fairly certain Jeromie wouldn't have had it any other way. She brought excitement, laughter, and just the right amount of loving chaos into their lives.
Of all the titles Renee held, however, being a grandmother was among her favorites. Her beloved granddaughters, Violet and Isabel Rose Bayless, were spoiled beyond reason, and Renee would have proudly argued that there was absolutely no such thing as spoiling them too much. Rules were merely suggestions when Grandma was around, and those girls knew exactly who to go to when they wanted a little extra love, attention, or whatever their hearts desired.
Renee also leaves behind her extended family of friends from Home Depot, where she formed countless friendships and undoubtedly shared plenty of laughter, stories, and memorable moments. To Renee, coworkers weren't simply coworkers, and friends had a way of becoming family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jeromie Novack; her children, Emily (Zachary) Bayless, Joshua Novack, and Molly Novack; her two cherished granddaughters, Violet and Isabel Rose Bayless; her father, Ron Janes; and the many, many friends whose lives were brighter because Renee was part of them. She is also survived by her two brothers and one sister, who will forever cherish the laughter, love, and memories they shared with her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Linda (Longstaff) Janes.
Renee lived life with an open heart, a cheerful smile, and a spontaneous spirit. She reminded those around her that life is meant to be enjoyed, adventures are meant to be taken, and strangers are simply friends you haven't met yet.
While the world may be a little quieter without her, the memories she created will continue to bring laughter and smiles to those who loved her. And somewhere, we like to imagine Renee has already found the best barbecue, turned up the country music, and made a whole new group of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions to assist with Renee's medical expenses and funeral costs. Your generosity and support during this difficult time are deeply appreciated.
Renee's journey here may have ended, but her love, laughter, and larger-than-life spirit will live on in every story shared, every adventure taken, and every country song played just a little too loud.
